After spending one single, and one very fine, day in the city of San Francisco at the age of sixteen, it took about twenty-five years for me to actually take that leap. My first apartment there, was quaint, and very charming, but was to put it bluntly…a bit worse for the wear. I set about my re-decorating and my repairs. Well, planning to renovate takes as much organization as running a company, and through suggestions of friends, I learned that part of my problems would be solved by finding the new “theme”…or the style in which I wanted to transform my flat. I thought about walls, about paint and wallpaper. I thought about redoing the wood floors and tiling the bathroom. And of course I thought about the windows.

Not only did I find the perfect shades and blinds for my flat, but a friend of mine now works there as well. What a great welcome back to a beautiful city.
