While YSR used Undavalli as the weapon to curb Ramoji Rao's Margadarsi he is intelligently using Mareppa to fight against Chiranjeevi. Mareppa is an SC and hence if he utters anything bad about Chiru and faces the comment in return, he can claim that to be an SC atrocity. It's a part of Rajaneethi to ignite and irritate opponents. If the opponents react instantly for comments then they might land up in soup. YSR knows all this and hence putting Mareppa in front to comment Chiranjeevi. The fresh comment of Mareppa on Chiranjeevi is, "Chiranjeevi is a drunkard. He consumes alcohol everyday and cannot pass the day without that".

Just a day ago he commented that Chiranjeevi is a blood-vendor @ Rs 1000 per unit. He also said that the one who is doing 'rakta daana' shouldn't charge from acceptors as 'storage charges'. He quoted an example asking, 'How can a person who goes ahead to do daana claim the conveyance expenses from the 'acceptor'?

And a few months ago he commented Chiru saying that there are many people who are more talented than Chiranjeevi but it is only his fate that made him Mega Star. So far Chiranjeevi and his camp are silent on all these comments as they fear that it may cause more damage for them if they open mouths.

Mareppa also demands a 'swetha patram' for his Charitable Trust. It is said that Chiranjeevi's personal bank accounts will be kept in the lens of IT department and the demand for every in and out will be followed as soon as he announces the party just to defame him and his character!
