Lead comedy hero Dr. Rajendra Prasad today celebrates his birthday, entering into his 53rd. Born on July 19th, 1956 at Nimmakur in Krishna district, Rajendra Prasad took his Bachelor's degree in engineering, before entering into films. He made his debut with Sneham (1977). But, he became a household name with Ladies Tailor (1985). Earlier, he made attempts to become a mass hero with films having revolutionary subjects like Ee Charitra Ye Siratho (1982) and Idhi Kadhu Mugimpu (1983). But, the audience of Andhra Pradesh found the best comedy hero in Rajendra Prasad, and he continues the streak since the last two decades. He is the first Telugu comedy hero to get an honorary doctorate.
