Dasari Narayana Rao has seen success both as director and actor. In fact, there was a time when he played lead characters in several super hit films. But lately he was not seen on screen. He recently provided story for Raja Vannemreddy's Adivaram Adavallaku Selavu. It was heard then that he is doing a character in that film but plans changed. Now, after a good gap, he is putting on makeup again for his home production film titled Mestri. Title is already registered and Srihari is playing the lead in this film. Dasari is doing a key role in the film. Mestri will go to sets in August.
